SIEMPRE HAY UN FONDO
When we ask ourselves why an insect ends up being practically identical to a stick to the point of being confused with it, we explain it as an evolution of nature by which an animal, in this case this bug, has developed a whole process of physical changes through over many years to go unnoticed by predators. The theory tells us that only those who best achieve their purpose and are invisible survive. But what if the stick insect actually looks like a stick because it simply wants to be a stick? What if the engine of change is simply an unbreakable desire for generations and generations to be a stick and not an insect? During the month of May, a group of sixteen people have been working on a creative process asking each other many questions and telling each other a lot of stories. We have called the result of this process “There is always a background”.
