TRAFFIK
“It’s time to treat yourselves. You DESERVE it. Come to our Nail Bar for luxury you can afford. Our prices are so good it’s almost criminal”.
Traffik is an immersive, one-on-one theatre experience exploring the issue of human trafficking. Within the intimacy of a nail bar, the audience member hears the stories of the women that work there; their journeys, struggles, hopes and fears. The customers are free to interact with the nail technicians, and learn more about this big problem from a singly personal perspective.
Human trafficking is a worldwide problem; there are approximately 21 million victims trapped in modern day slavery* (Information acquired by A21). Men, women and children are subject to physical, verbal, and sexual abuse including forced prostitution and barbaric working conditions. Slaves can be found working in UK factories, farms and yes, even nail salons.
Traffik uses audience interaction to bring a personal outlook on a hard-hitting issue. We ask our audiences to be observant. To take notice of their intuition that something just isn’t right, and empower them to do something about it.

PLANET B PRODUCTIONS
Here at Planet B Productions we create immersive and interactive theatre that is politically motivated. The company engages with social justice issues such as human trafficking, mental health, veganism, and the detrimental effects of plastic pollution on our environment.
Our mission is to highlight humanitarian issues that as a society we often feel apathetic and detached from, with the aim of increasing public engagement, and ultimately eliciting positive change. Planet B achieves this by approaching incomprehensibly large issues through personal narratives.
We are an Oxford UK based company with connections throughout Britain.
